What we collect

If you sign up for the 6am email we keep the email address, first name and the corner of Central Florida you chose, so we can send the email you asked for. Every email carries an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

If you submit an event or partner with us, we keep what you typed into that form so we can reply.

The site does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and reliability.

We count a small set of interactions, such as opening an event source or completing signup, in those Cloudflare logs to understand whether the site is useful. These interaction messages contain only an action category and page category, not your email, form contents or a visitor ID. Browser session storage prevents repeated counts for the same action; we skip these messages when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Who sees it

Nobody outside the people who run MomsAlike and the services that deliver the email. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Links to other sites

Event, deal and merchant links go to the organiser's or merchant's own page. Their privacy practices are their own.

Children

The site is written for parents and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Conversations with Marge

When you use Ask Marge, this browser tab stores your conversation and draft so you can follow a listing link and return. “New chat” clears that stored conversation. If tab storage is unavailable, messages remain only on the current page. We send your opening request and recent conversation to our AI providers to respond; context is limited, so Marge may need a reminder in long chats.

The service records your IP address, the first 200 characters of each question and the time to enforce a daily question limit. AI replies can be wrong; check the linked source. Avoid sharing private information. Choosing “Save this plan” stores the answer and a shortened copy of your question behind an unguessable link. Anyone with that link can read the saved plan.
